SCARP

Challenge: The School of Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia wished to transform their website into a platform that would allow their community to share their activity and academic excellence with the rest of the world under a fresh and progressive image, supported by a new visual identity.

Solution: We re-created the visual identity of SCARP by identifying the statement of "Sustainability by Planning" as the major characteristic of the school. We then transformed this idea into a visual language that represented SCARP while keeping a high level of aesthetics. We also involved the school in a comprehensive re-planning of the site’s features and architecture, and developed a comprehensive expansion plan for the project.

Result: SCARP's new website delivers community generated content from more than 100 users to over 200k monthly visitors. Under a fresh and forward looking brand, the school enjoys a strong and informative website which also acts as a sharing and collaboration platform between the school, the public and academic world.
